These daylilies are selected from our massive hybridizing program of tens of thousands of daylilies hybridized with some of the best newer daylily parents. Many of which are siblings of the daylilies chosen for future registration and may be slightly different in color height and other features. In addition, many high-quality daylilies from our hybridizing program that have not been chosen for registration, but still solid and gorgeous newer flowers are included in this group. These daylilies were part of an acquisition from Chicago several years ago that did not have names and we have not been able to identify. Starting with thousands of daylilies back in Indiana, they have grown significantly and done very well both in Indiana as well as in Michigan once we moved. Now we've decided to offer them in mixed lots and bring back our Lost Tag offering at a significantly discounted rate. There are a wide variety of colors from near white to dark red, and a range of fans sizes, flower sizes, and heights. They will be well mixed before they are shipped to you ensure you get many different with each order.

The hallmark of this winner in the landscape category is its near-continuous blooming. It was selected an All-America and created from Stella De Oro, the most successful Daylily in history. Black Eyed Stella was the result of over three thousand hybrid crosses. It has been rated excellent for growth in eight zones across the USA and Canada. This means it will winter well in Minnesota but also maintains bloom and foliage beauty throughout the summer months, even in southern Florida where it received some of its highest scores. With this improved heat tolerance over the parent plant, Black Eyed Stella is good news to southern gardeners as well as those in the northern states. This is a smaller, more petite dayliliy like the Stella de Oro with the flare of the red eye.
